Intercoolerslang voor het drukvullende laadluchtsysteem van de TD4 M47 2.0L 16V dieselmotor.

Deze maakt deel uit van de drukleiding tussen de turbocompressor en de intercooler, transporteert onder druk staande laadlucht en dicht het pad af, zodat gekoelde, gecomprimeerde lucht naar de inlaat wordt gevoerd. De gevormde slang is zo gevormd dat deze rond aangrenzende motorruimtecomponenten loopt en klemt aan de bijbehorende aansluitingen aan elk uiteinde.

Een stevige, lekvrije verbinding hier is essentieel voor het handhaven van de turbodruk; een versleten of gespleten slang veroorzaakt een verlies van laaddruk en verminderde motorprestaties.

This intercooler hose sits in the boost pipework between the turbocharger and the intercooler on the Freelander 1 TD4 (BMW M47 2.0L). It carries pressurised charge air from the turbo to the intercooler and seals the joint at each clamped end.
How is this different from the other TD4 intercooler hose?
This is the turbo-to-intercooler hose, carrying hot pressurised air straight from the turbocharger. The other TD4 charge-air hose runs from the intercooler to the inlet manifold with cooled air. Check which end of the circuit you're replacing before ordering.
What happens when this turbo hose splits?
A split or perished turbo hose typically causes a loss of charge pressure, black smoke and reduced performance on the TD4. The moulded hose softens with heat and oil over time, so a clean, sealed joint at both clamps is essential to hold boost.
