De set bevat de koppelingsplaat (drukgroep) en de frictieplaat. Het druklager (UUB000070) en het dubbelmassavliegwiel zijn afzonderlijke onderdelen en zijn niet inbegrepen.

De koppelingsplaat wordt op het vliegwiel bevestigd en de diafragmaveer klemt de aangedreven plaat - die met splines op de ingaande as van de versnellingsbak zit - tegen het vliegwiel om de aandrijving over te brengen; door de koppeling te lossen, komt de aangedreven plaat vrij om de aandrijving te onderbreken voor het schakelen.
