Tussenbakflens (voor) is de voorste uitgaande aandrijfflens van de LT230-tussenbak - de spiebaanflens waaraan de voorste aandrijfas wordt vastgeschroefd.

Deze wordt op de voorste uitgaande as van de tussenbak gespiet en vastgezet met een centrale moer. Het flensvlak is voorzien van een opgedrukte modderkap en loopt tegen de oliekeerring van de uitgaande as; omdat een flens die door de originele keerring is versleten de neiging heeft te lekken bij een nieuwe, worden de flens en de keerring samen vervangen. Deze wordt geleverd als een kit met de bijbehorende oliekeerring (FTC4939).

Door de aandrijving van de tussenbak naar de voorste aandrijfas over te brengen, veroorzaakt een versleten of gecorrodeerde flens olielekkages vanuit de uitgaande as en speling bij de koppeling van de aandrijfas.

Yes, this flange kit includes the matching transfer box output shaft oil seal. The flange face runs directly against that seal, and a used flange that has worn a groove will leak against a fresh seal, so both are replaced together. Fit the supplied seal with the flange.
