What does this Double DIN Fascia do?
This is a gloss piano black replacement centre dash panel that converts the factory single-DIN opening to fit a double DIN head unit, for the Defender Puma, 2007 to 2016. It retains the original clock, dash switches and button detail, with the heater control markings pre-applied.
What's included to fit the head unit into this fascia?
Mounting brackets and a cage for the head unit are supplied where required, and the panel is a one-piece drop-in replacement, so no cutting or modification of the dashboard is needed to fit it.
Does this fascia fit the pre-2007 Defender dashboard?
No. This fascia is built for the Puma dash only, 2007 to 2016, and does not fit the earlier pre-2007 Defender dashboard shape. Check your build date before ordering to avoid an incorrect fit.
What makes this different from other Piano Black double DIN fascias?
This version has directional vents that can be adjusted up or down, and it retains the original clock and dash button detail. Some other double DIN fascias for the same era use fixed vents moulded into the panel instead, so check the vent style before choosing.
