What is the GA4427 Rubber Floor Mat Set for?
It's a rubber floor mat set for the rear footwell of the Discovery 1, 1989 to 1998, across all engines including the TDi. It lays over the existing floor covering and takes the wear from mud, grit and water carried in on footwear.
Is this the front or rear mat set?
This is the rear set only, covering the rear footwell area. The front mat set for the Discovery 1, GA4426, is a separate item if you want both ends covered.
Can these mats be removed for cleaning?
Yes, they lift straight out. Being rubber, they can be hosed down when muddy and simply dropped back into the footwell, no fixings to undo.
Will this rear mat set fit a Discovery 2 as well?
No. This set is shaped specifically for the Discovery 1 floor pan, 1989 to 1998, and won't sit correctly in a Discovery 2, which has a different floor pan. Check your model year before ordering.
