Frequently asked questions

What is the EVL501100PMA rear seat belt assembly?

The EVL501100PMA is a rear seat belt assembly for the Defender. It comprises the inertia-reel retractor, webbing and latching tongue, mounting to the body anchorage points to restrain a rear-seat passenger. It's a Genuine Land Rover part in colour PMA.

Which Defenders does the EVL501100PMA fit?

The EVL501100PMA fits the Puma-era Defender (2007-2016) from VIN 7A000001, across 90, 110 and 130 wheelbases in 5 and 7 seat configurations. Confirm your seat layout and belt colour PMA before ordering, as rear belt positions differ by configuration.

Should a rear seat belt be replaced rather than repaired?

Replace the EVL501100PMA rather than repairing a faulty belt, as it's a safety-critical restraint. If the reel won't lock or the webbing is damaged, fit a new Genuine assembly. Match the colour code PMA to your interior trim when ordering.
