Chassisbalkverlenging (Outrigger) is een laterale structurele beugel die naar buiten uitsteekt vanaf de hoofdlangsbalk van het chassis om de carrosserie, het schutbord en de vloer te ondersteunen en hun bevestigingspunten te dragen.
