What does the LR032080G spark plug do on the 5.0 V8?
The LR032080G spark plug produces the spark that ignites the compressed air-fuel mixture in the 5.0L V8 AJ133 petrol engine. It takes the charge from the coil-on-plug ignition coil and fires it across the electrode gap. Fitted to supercharged and naturally aspirated versions.
How many spark plugs does the 5.0 V8 need?
The 5.0L V8 AJ133 uses one spark plug per cylinder, so a full set is eight. Plugs are usually replaced as a complete set so all cylinders fire consistently. This Bosch plug fits Range Rover L322 and L405, Range Rover Sport L320 and L494, and Discovery 4.
What are the signs the spark plugs need replacing?
Worn spark plugs on the 5.0 V8 typically show as misfires, rough idle, harder starting or reduced performance as the electrode gap erodes and the spark weakens. Check your vehicle's service schedule for the recommended replacement interval.
