What is the front lower rear suspension arm used for?
The front lower rear suspension arm is the rearward lower control arm in the front multi-link setup on the Range Rover L405 (2013-2022). It positions the lower end of the wheel hub and controls it under load, feeding suspension forces into the chassis through its pivot bushes. Fitted on the right-hand side.
What are the signs this suspension arm needs replacing?
These arms usually wear out at the pivot bushes, which soften and split over time. Common symptoms on the L405 are knocking over bumps, imprecise steering and alignment that drifts. Replacing the arm restores accurate location of the hub and steadier handling.
