Frequently asked questions

What is the T2R5102PR front lower wishbone?
The T2R5102PR is a PROEVO+ front lower wishbone for the rear-wheel-drive F-TYPE (X152). It's the lower control arm of the front double-wishbone suspension, tying the bottom of the hub carrier to the subframe through two inboard bushes and carrying the lower ball joint at its outboard end.
Will this fit an AWD F-TYPE?
No, this is the rear-wheel-drive front wishbone for the F-TYPE (X152). All-wheel-drive models use different front suspension geometry. Check that your car is RWD before ordering, since the drive type changes the arm and its clearances at the hub carrier.
How do I know the front wishbone is worn?
A worn wishbone typically gives vague steering, knocking over bumps and uneven front tyre wear as the inboard bushes or the lower ball joint develop play. The ball joint is safety-critical, so a knocking or loose front arm on the F-TYPE shouldn't be left.
Is a wheel alignment needed after fitting?
Yes. After fitting the front lower wishbone, the front wheel geometry must be checked and reset, because the arm sets part of the camber and castor. Skipping the alignment on the F-TYPE typically leads to a steering pull and rapid, uneven front tyre wear.
