Frequently asked questions

What is the front suspension arm bush and what does it do?
The front suspension arm bush is the compliance bush pressed into the front suspension arm where it mounts to the body on the Range Rover L322. It carries the arm pivot, locating it under braking and cornering loads while isolating road noise and vibration.
What are the signs the bush needs replacing?
As the rubber hardens, cracks or separates from its shell, the arm moves freely under load, which shows as vague steering, uneven front tyre wear and knocking over bumps on the L322. Renew both sides together to keep geometry even.
How is it fitted?
The bush is pressed into the arm, so a press or a suitable drawbolt is required to replace it on the Range Rover L322. It covers 2002-2009 (to VIN 9A999999) and 2010-2012 (from VIN AA000001).
