Frequently asked questions

What does the SPF1721K castor correction bush kit do?
The SPF1721K is an offset polyurethane bush set for the front radius arm to differential mounting. The eccentric bore rotates the axle relative to the radius arms, restoring castor angle lost when a suspension lift raises the ride height, up to 2 degrees of correction.
What's included in the SPF1721K kit?
The SPF1721K contains 4 polyurethane bushes, 4 steel tubes, 4 sleeves and a fitting instruction sheet, enough to do the front radius arm to differential mountings.
Why fit castor correction bushes after a suspension lift?
A suspension lift changes the front axle geometry and reduces castor, which typically brings vague steering, wander and weak straight-line self-centring. The offset bushes restore castor angle so the steering feels planted again after a lift.
What's the advantage of polyurethane over rubber bushes?
Polyurethane resists the deflection and progressive collapse that the original rubber bushes suffer under axle wind-up. It holds the axle location more consistently under braking and off-road articulation than a standard rubber bush.
