Frequently asked questions

What does the front anti-roll bar bush do?
The front anti-roll bar bush is a rubber insulator that clamps the front stabiliser bar to its chassis bracket. It allows the bar to twist under load while damping vibration and stopping metal-to-metal contact. Fits Discovery 5 (2017 on) and Range Rover L405 (2013-2022) front suspension.
How many of these bushes does the front bar need?
The front stabiliser bar takes a pair of these bushes, one per chassis clamp, so you'll usually need two. Renewing both sides together keeps roll control even. This listing is for a single bush.
What causes the anti-roll bar bush to wear out?
These bushes wear as the rubber perishes, softens or splits with age, road salt and load. On Discovery 5 and Range Rover L405 that shows up as knocking over bumps and less precise handling. Fresh bushes restore a tight connection between the bar and chassis.
