Frequently asked questions

What is the 2.0in coilover shock?
This is a 2.0in bore remote-reservoir coilover damper with 14in of stroke, built for long-travel competition and off-road suspension. The remote reservoir raises oil volume and holds the gas charge clear of the working fluid, which limits aeration and damping fade over sustained travel.
What vehicles does it fit?
This is a universal motorsport coilover shock and requires model-specific mounting. It carries spherical bearing mounts at both ends, 16mm (5/8in) bore and 38mm wide, which absorb the mount misalignment that long axle travel produces. Match mounting and travel to your build.
When is a 2.0in bore the right choice over a larger shock?
A 2.0in bore suits lighter vehicle weights and lower-speed disciplines such as rock crawling and buggy work, where heat generation is lower than in high-speed running. For sustained high-speed use, a larger bore typically handles the extra heat better.
