The GA3605 is a cosmetic cover panel in Gondwana Stone that fits the rear door recess left after removing an externally mounted spare wheel and carrier brackets. It closes off the exposed mounting holes for a flush rear door finish.
Does removing the spare wheel affect the vehicle?
Yes, taking the spare wheel off the rear door reduces the weight hanging on the door hinges and opens up rearward visibility. The GA3605 panel is the finishing piece for that conversion.
Is the GA3605 colour-matched to the vehicle?
The GA3605 is supplied pre-finished in Gondwana Stone to match the factory New Defender L663 (2020+) paint option of the same name. It's not intended for other Land Rover models or earlier Defenders.
