What is the LR183052 water outlet hose?
The LR183052 is the lower return hose (aftermarket, Allmakes) in the turbocharger coolant circuit of the 3.0L AJ20P6 Ingenium petrol engine, in High output and PHEV applications. It carries coolant from the turbocharger bearing housing back into the engine cooling circuit.
What does this hose do for the turbo?
The LR183052 draws heat away from the turbine bearing both in operation and during the heat-soak period after shutdown. Keeping coolant flowing through the bearing housing protects the turbo bearing from heat damage, so a perished or leaking hose should be renewed promptly.
Is there a fitting note, and what does it fit?
The O-ring must be lubricated with clean water before the hose is installed. The LR183052 fits the 3.0L AJ20P6 petrol High and PHEV in the New Defender, Discovery 5, Range Rover L460, Range Rover Sport L461 and Velar. Confirm your engine and VIN before ordering.
