Frequently asked questions

What does the CRP500041 mirror motor do?
It's the drive motor that powers adjustment of the exterior door mirror, fitted inside the mirror housing. It's the memory-type motor, using an 8-pin connector, and tilts the glass on its axes via the electric mirror controls.
Will this motor fit either the left or right mirror?
Yes, this memory-type motor is common to both left- and right-hand mirrors, so the same part number covers both sides rather than needing a separate LH and RH version.
How is this different from a non-memory mirror motor?
This motor stores mirror position settings for recall, typically linked to memory seat or driver profiles, whereas a non-memory motor like CRP500031 only moves the glass on command without saving positions.
