Frequently asked questions

What does this heater hose do?
This heater hose carries engine coolant between the cooling system and the heater matrix, feeding the cabin heating circuit on the 4.2L V8 Supercharged petrol engine. It is moulded to route around the supercharged V8 installation.
Which models and engine does it fit?
This heater hose fits the 4.2L V8 Supercharged petrol engine in the Range Rover L322 2002 to 2009 and Range Rover Sport L320 2005 to 2009. It does not fit naturally aspirated or diesel versions.
Why do heater hoses need replacing?
Heater hoses perish and crack with age and engine heat, leading to coolant leaks and loss of cabin heat. Replace this hose if it is soft, swollen or weeping around the connections on the supercharged V8.
