What does the windscreen washer jet do?
The windscreen washer jet is the spray nozzle mounted on the scuttle that directs twin streams of washer fluid onto the windscreen. This is the non-heated version, used on the Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport with the Less Heated Washer Jet option.
How many washer jets are fitted to the vehicle?
Two washer jets are fitted per vehicle on the Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport, one for each side of the windscreen. If one nozzle is blocked or damaged it's common to replace both at the same time so the spray pattern stays even.
What's the difference between the heated and non-heated washer jet?
This is the non-heated washer jet, for vehicles built with the Less Heated Washer Jet option. A separate heated version exists with an integral element to stop the fluid freezing. Check which option your vehicle was built with before ordering, as they aren't interchangeable.
