What does the LR020019SENSOR fuel pressure sensor do?
The LR020019SENSOR measures fuel rail pressure and reports it to the engine ECU on the 3.6 V8 TDV8 diesel. This lets the ECU control injection pressure. Aftermarket part, the right-hand (RH) sensor on the fuel supply manifold.
Which engine and side does this fuel pressure sensor fit?
The LR020019SENSOR is the right-hand fuel rail pressure sensor for the 3.6L V8 TDV8 diesel only, in the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) and Range Rover Sport L320 (2005-2013) from VIN AA000001. It doesn't fit petrol or other diesel engines.
What are the symptoms of a faulty fuel pressure sensor?
A faulty fuel pressure sensor causes poor starting, power loss, rough running and a warning light on the 3.6 V8 diesel. The ECU may log rail pressure fault codes. Replace the RH sensor when readings are out of range and codes point to it.
