Brandstofkoeler voor het TDV6/TDV8-dieselbrandstofsysteem. Gemonteerd in de brandstofretourleiding, voert het de warmte af die de brandstof absorbeert tijdens het circuleren door het hogedrukinjectiecircuit, waardoor de temperatuur daalt voordat deze terugkeert naar de tank.

Het koelen van de retourbrandstof beschermt de tank en de brandstofniveausensor tegen hitte en houdt de brandstoftemperatuur binnen het bereik waarvoor het injectiesysteem is ontworpen. Het is gemonteerd in de luchtstroom onder het voertuig, zodat passerende lucht warmte via de vinnen afvoert.

The fuel cooler sits in the diesel fuel return line and removes the heat the fuel picks up while circulating through the high-pressure injection circuit. It lowers the fuel temperature before it returns to the tank, protecting the tank and fuel-level sender and keeping fuel within the range the injection system needs.

Which engines does this fuel cooler fit?

Despite the TDV6 name, this cooler fits both the V6 TDV6 and V8 TDV8 diesels. That covers the 2.7L and 3.0L TDV6 and the 3.6L and 4.4L TDV8. Check your engine against this list, as petrol models don't use a fuel cooler here.
