Frequently asked questions

What does the Air Suspension Sensor do?
The Air Suspension Sensor is a ride height sensor in the electronic air suspension. Linked between the chassis and a suspension arm by a drop link, it measures the arm's position and reports corner ride height to the control module, which then raises, lowers and levels the vehicle.
Where is the ride height sensor fitted?
The ride height sensor is fitted at a suspension corner, connected between the body or chassis and a suspension arm through a drop link. It's used on the Discovery 4 (2010-2016) with four-corner air suspension and the Range Rover Sport L320 (2010-2013).
What are the signs the ride height sensor has failed?
A faulty or out-of-range ride height sensor typically triggers a suspension fault warning and can stop the vehicle changing or levelling its height. The affected corner may sit too high or too low compared with the others.
How do I confirm this sensor fits my vehicle?
It fits the Land Rover Discovery 4 (2010-2016) with four-corner air suspension and the Range Rover Sport L320 (2010-2013). Several ride height sensors are fitted per vehicle, so confirm the corner you need and check your VIN before ordering.
