Remschijf - geventileerde voorremschijf, onderdeel van de voorremconstructie.

De schijf biedt het wrijvingsoppervlak waartegen de voorremblokken klemmen tijdens het remmen. De geventileerde (intern geventileerde) constructie zuigt lucht door de schijf om warmte af te voeren tijdens aanhoudend of zwaar remmen, waardoor het risico op fading van de remmen wordt verminderd. Hij wordt op de voorwielnaaf gemonteerd en draait mee met het wegwiel.
