Frequently asked questions

What does the RQH500011 air suspension sensor do?
The RQH500011 is a ride height sensor for the Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) system. A rotary potentiometer on the suspension arm measures travel at one corner and sends a position signal to the EAS control unit, which regulates air spring inflation to hold the target ride height.
What are the signs an air suspension height sensor has failed?
A failed height sensor typically triggers a suspension fault warning, erratic or uneven ride height, or the vehicle sitting low at one corner. The EAS ECU relies on its signal to set air spring pressure, so a faulty sensor can drop the system into a safe mode. There's one sensor per corner.
Which Land Rovers does this air suspension sensor fit?
This sensor fits the Land Rover Discovery 3 (2005-2009), early-VIN Discovery 4 (2010-2016), Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) from VIN 6A000001, and Range Rover Sport (2005-2013) with air suspension. Use your VIN to confirm, especially on the L322 and Discovery 4.
Is RQH500011 the same as LR084274?
Yes, LR084274 is the cross-reference number for this air suspension height sensor, listed in this item's alternative codes. Both refer to the same EAS ride height sensor, so if your vehicle records show either number, this is the correct part.
