What is the TF634 big brake kit and what does it include?
The TF634 is a 340mm front brake upgrade for the Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4 and Range Rover Sport L320. It raises front disc diameter to 340mm and includes caliper mounting brackets, front discs and matched front pads. The original front calipers are kept and repositioned over the larger discs.
Does fitting this kit need the brakes bled?
No. The TF634 keeps the original front calipers and doesn't open the hydraulic circuit, so no brake bleeding is required on completion. The kit repositions the existing calipers over the larger 340mm discs using the supplied mounting brackets.
What discs and pads come with the kit?
The TF634 comes with cross-drilled and grooved CDG front discs and a matched set of road-going front pads. The drillings and grooves vent gas and dust away from the pad face, helping keep bite consistent when the brakes are hot or wet.
