What is the TF635 big brake kit and what does it include?
The TF635 is a 360mm front brake upgrade for the Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4 and Range Rover Sport L320. It raises front disc diameter to 360mm and supplies replacement front calipers, caliper mounting brackets, front discs and ceramic front pads. It's the more comprehensive of the two front brake upgrade routes.
How does the 360mm kit differ from the 340mm kit for fitting?
Unlike the 340mm kit, the TF635 replaces the front calipers rather than reusing them. Because the calipers are new, the hydraulic circuit is opened, so the front brakes must be bled on completion. Plan for a brake bleed as part of the fitting job.
What wheels do I need to run this 360mm kit?
The TF635 must only be fitted to vehicles running 19 inch original alloy wheels, or 18 inch wheels with the appropriate spacers. The larger 360mm discs need that wheel clearance, so check your wheel size before ordering to be sure the kit will fit.
What discs and pads come with the kit?
The TF635 comes with cross-drilled and grooved CDG front discs and a ceramic front pad compound. The drillings and grooves vent gas and dust from the pad face, while the ceramic pads run quietly, make little brake dust and hold a stable friction level as the discs heat up.
Which vehicles does the 360mm kit fit?
