Frequently asked questions

What is this exhaust system bolt used for?
This exhaust system bolt secures the catalytic converter flange joint, clamping the converter to its mating exhaust pipe section. It's used on the Discovery 3, Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport L320 exhaust systems.
Should I reuse the old exhaust bolt?
No, renew this exhaust bolt rather than reusing it whenever the joint is disturbed. Bolts at the catalytic converter flange run through repeated heat cycles and road salt, so they corrode and seize. Replace all fasteners in the joint together for an even clamp.
How many bolts are needed for the flange joint?
This bolt is sold individually, so order the number your catalytic converter flange uses, typically several per joint. Count the fixings on your exhaust flange before ordering, and renew the full set at the same time.
