What is the Eezi Bleed kit used for?

The Eezi Bleed is a one-person brake and clutch bleeding kit. It uses the pressure from a spare tyre to push fluid through the system, letting you bleed brakes or clutch hydraulics on a Land Rover without a second person pumping the pedal.

How does the Eezi Bleed work?

Eezi Bleed connects to the brake fluid reservoir and draws pressure from a partly deflated spare tyre. That pressure feeds fresh fluid through the lines as you open each bleed nipple, so old fluid and air are pushed out.

Do I need any other tools to use it?

You'll typically need a spanner to open the bleed nipples and a container for the old fluid. The Eezi Bleed itself supplies the pressure and the reservoir cap adaptors. Make sure the spare tyre pressure is low before connecting.

Does it work on the clutch as well as the brakes?

Yes, Eezi Bleed works on hydraulic clutch systems as well as brakes. Any Land Rover with a fluid reservoir feeding the line can typically be bled with it, which suits Defender, Discovery and Range Rover models.
