Gloeibougie voor de 200TDi en 300TDi 2.5-liter direct ingespoten turbodieselmotoren. Het maakt deel uit van het voorverwarmingssysteem voor een koude start.

De gloeibougie wordt in de cilinderkop geschroefd, waarbij het verwarmingselement in de verbrandingskamer steekt. Deze wordt geactiveerd voor en tijdens het starten en verwarmt de lucht in de kamer om een betrouwbare ontsteking te bevorderen en de verbranding te stabiliseren bij een koude start.
