WYC100560 - Clip

The WYC100560 is an air cleaner retaining clip used on the Land Rover Defender, Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38. It holds the air cleaner or airbox lid to its body, keeping the filter housing sealed so only filtered air reaches the engine.

This clip fits on the air cleaner housing of the Defender (2.5L Td5), Discovery 2 (Td5) and Range Rover P38 (BMW 6-cyl diesel and V8 petrol). It clamps the airbox lid to the base, sitting in the engine bay near the intake.

You'll typically need two to four clips to secure an airbox lid, depending on the housing, though many owners replace all of them at once. They're usually sold individually. These clips often go brittle with heat and age, so a full set avoids repeat air leaks.
