Brandstofafsluitmagneet voor de 200 Tdi en 300 Tdi 2.5L turbo dieselmotor, gemonteerd op de brandstofinjectiepomp.

Blijft open zolang er stroom doorheen gaat via het contactslot om brandstof naar de pomp te laten stromen; wanneer het contact wordt uitgeschakeld, wordt de magneet bekrachtigd en sluit deze, waardoor de brandstoftoevoer wordt afgesloten om de motor te stoppen. Een defecte magneet is een veelvoorkomende oorzaak van het niet starten of het niet uitschakelen.

What is the RTC6702G stop solenoid used for?
The RTC6702G is a fuel stop solenoid for the 200Tdi and 300Tdi diesel engines. It sits on the injection pump and cuts fuel to shut the engine down when you turn off the ignition. It's a Bosch unit for the Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.
Why won't my engine stop or start after the solenoid fails?
A failed stop solenoid typically leaves the engine running after ignition off, or blocks fuel so it won't start at all. Fitting the RTC6702G on the 200Tdi or 300Tdi injection pump restores normal fuel cut-off on the Defender and Discovery 1.
Which models and build ranges does it fit?
The RTC6702G fits the 2.5L 200/300 Tdi in the Defender, Discovery 1 (FA393361 to WA799999) and Range Rover Classic. The Range Rover Classic split at VIN HA610293 and JA610294, so check your VIN before ordering.
