Dit is de groene, dikwandige variant, kleurgecodeerd en op maat gemaakt voor de lagedrukretouraansluiting op de stuurinrichting. Deze dicht het aansluitvlak af om lekkage van hydraulische vloeistof te voorkomen, geschikt voor zowel links- als rechtsgestuurde toepassingen. The QED100110 O-ring seals the low-pressure pipe connection at the power steering box on the Land Rover Discovery 2. It's the Genuine green, thick-section ring and fits both left- and right-hand drive vehicles, preventing hydraulic fluid leaking at the return joint.
How is this different from the other power steering O-rings?
This is the green, thick-section ring for the low-pressure pipe to the power steering box on the Discovery 2. Land Rover colour and size-codes these O-rings, so the green thin and brown thick versions seal different joints. Match colour and section to your old ring before fitting.
Where does this O-ring fit on the steering box?
This O-ring fits the low-pressure return pipe connection at the power steering (PAS) box on the Discovery 2, on both LHD and RHD cars. It seals the joint against fluid weeping. Typically fit a new one whenever the pipe is disconnected.
