O-ring voor het hydraulische circuit van de stuurbekrachtiging, die de verbinding van de hogedrukleiding met de stuurinrichting afdicht.

Dit is de bruine, dunne uitvoering, met kleurcodering en op maat gemaakt voor de hogedrukvoeg bij de stuurinrichting. Deze dicht het aansluitvlak af tegen vloeistof onder druk en is geschikt voor zowel links- als rechtsgestuurde toepassingen. Vervang de afdichting telkens wanneer de verbinding is verstoord om een betrouwbare afdichting te garanderen.

What does the QED100130 power steering O-ring do?
The QED100130 O-ring seals the high-pressure pipe connection at the power steering box on the Discovery 2. It's the brown, thin-section variant, sized for the high-pressure feed joint, and keeps pressurised hydraulic fluid from leaking at the mating face.
How many O-rings do I need, and can I reuse the old one?
You'll typically need one QED100130 O-ring per high-pressure joint. These seals are single-use, so fit a new one whenever the pipe union is disturbed. Reusing a compressed O-ring usually causes a weep or pressure loss at the steering box connection.
How do I know I'm ordering the correct power steering O-ring?
Match the brown, thin-section O-ring for the Discovery 2 high-pressure pipe-to-steering-box joint. Land Rover colour-codes and sizes these seals by application, so the colour and section thickness confirm the right one. A mismatched O-ring can leak under high pressure.
