A/C-Ontvanger/droger-samenstel voor het koelmiddelcircuit van de airconditioning. Deze bevindt zich aan de hogedruk vloeistofzijde, na de condensor en vóór het expansieventiel.

De ontvanger/droger slaat vloeibaar koelmiddel op en gebruikt een intern droogmiddel om restvocht uit het systeem te trekken, waardoor interne corrosie en de vorming van zuren en ijs bij het expansieventiel worden voorkomen. Een geïntegreerd filterzeef vangt vuil op voordat het koelmiddel de doseeropening bereikt. Vervanging wordt aanbevolen wanneer het circuit is geopend of een belangrijk onderdeel is vervangen.

What is the A/C Receiver Dryer Assembly (JRJ000010LR) and what does it do?
It's the genuine Land Rover air conditioning receiver dryer for the Defender (1987-2006) with factory A/C, left-hand-drive. It sits on the high-pressure liquid side between the condenser and expansion valve, storing refrigerant and drawing moisture out of the system with a desiccant.
Why does the receiver dryer need replacing?
The receiver dryer should be replaced whenever the Defender A/C circuit is opened or a major component renewed. Its desiccant absorbs moisture over time, and once exposed to air it can no longer protect against internal corrosion and ice at the expansion valve.
Does this fit every air-conditioned Defender?
