What is the LR129322LR air filter element?
The LR129322LR is the Genuine Land Rover air filter element for the New Defender (L663, 2020 on). It seats in the airbox and traps dust and debris drawn through the intake, protecting the airflow sensor, turbocharger and cylinder bores from abrasive wear.
How many air filters does the New Defender take?
Most New Defender engines use a single element, including the 2.0L four-cylinder and 3.0L six-cylinder petrol and diesel. The 5.0L V8 petrol takes two per vehicle. Check your engine variant before ordering.
When is the air filter element renewed?
The element is renewed at the scheduled service rather than cleaned. A clogged filter raises intake restriction and can upset airflow metering on the New Defender. Consult your vehicle's service schedule for the correct interval.
