The front ABS wheel speed sensor measures front wheel rotation for the 4-wheel anti-lock braking system on the Defender and Discovery 1. It feeds wheel speed data to the ABS controller.
Which models does this fit?
This front ABS sensor fits the Defender 1987 to 2006 and Discovery 1 1989 to 1998 with 4-wheel ABS. Confirm your vehicle is ABS-equipped, as not all of these had ABS fitted.
How many front ABS sensors do I need?
This is a front sensor, and there is typically one per front wheel. Order two if you are replacing both front corners on the Defender or Discovery 1.
What are the symptoms of a failed front ABS sensor?
