What is the GA3165 non-ABS swivel kit for?

The GA3165 is a full overhaul kit for one front swivel housing on Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic vehicles built without ABS. It includes the swivel ball, upper pin, bearing, oil seal, retaining plate and shims for a complete rebuild of one side.

How many GA3165 kits do I need?

One kit covers one side of the front axle, so overhauling both swivel housings needs two GA3165 kits.

How do I know if my vehicle needs the non-ABS version?

The GA3165 fits Discovery 1 up to VIN JA32851 and Range Rover Classic up to VIN JA624517, both without ABS fitted. Vehicles built after those VINs, or with ABS, need the GA3166 kit instead.

What's the difference between the GA3165, GA3165P and GA3165G?

The GA3165 includes a new swivel ball, the GA3165P is the repair version without the ball, and the GA3165G is the OEM-grade equivalent to the GA3165 with the same 8mm seal and non-ABS specification.
