What's included in the GA3166P ABS swivel repair kit?
The GA3166P renews the pivot and sealing components of one front swivel housing on ABS-equipped Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic vehicles, without replacing the ball. It includes the upper swivel pin, bearing, oil seal, retaining plate, shims and gasket.
How many GA3166P kits are needed for a full service?
One kit covers one swivel housing, so servicing both sides needs two GA3166P kits.
Can I use the GA3166P on a non-ABS vehicle?
No. It's built for the ABS swivel configuration. Non-ABS Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic vehicles need the GA3165P repair kit instead.
Should I fit the GA3166P or the GA3166?
Fit the GA3166P if your existing swivel ball is still smooth and undamaged, since it doesn't include a new ball. If the ball's sealing face is pitted or worn, the GA3166 includes a replacement.
