Motorkap voor de carrosserie van de Defender Puma-generatie.

Deze motorkap is hoger en breder dan de Defender-motorkap van vóór 2007, met een kenmerkend verhoogd middendeel ontworpen om ruimte te maken voor de TDCi-motorinstallatie. Hij maakt gebruik van dezelfde scharnierbevestigingspunten en sluitingsmechanisme als de motorkap van vóór de Puma, waardoor hij compatibel is met het standaard motorkapontgrendelingssysteem. Het paneel is vervaardigd uit 100% gegalvaniseerd staal (galvannealed steel) en wordt elektrostatisch gegrond (E-Coat zwart) geleverd, klaar om in de door u gekozen kleur te worden gespoten.

Deze motorkap vereist geen isolatiemat en is niet compatibel met reservewielhouders die op de motorkap zijn gemonteerd. Vanwege het iets bredere profiel kan hij interfereren met oudere type (vóór 2007) spatbordbeschermersets.
