Frequently asked questions

What is the Revotec electronic fan controller?

The Revotec 35mm electronic fan controller switches an electric cooling fan on and off based on coolant temperature. It replaces less reliable capillary switches with a sealed electronic sensor that mounts into a 35mm coolant hose.

What temperature range does it cover?

The Revotec controller is adjustable from 70C to 120C, set by turning a screw, per the product data. That lets you dial in when the fan cuts in to match your Land Rover's cooling needs.

What size hose does it fit?

This is the 35mm version, so it fits into a 35mm coolant hose. The sensor mounts inline in the hose without restricting flow. Check your hose diameter before ordering, as Revotec makes other sizes.

What's included and does it work with any fan?

The controller comes with a relay loom, extended power lead and mounting hardware. It typically works with any DC electric cooling fan, so it suits both original and aftermarket fan setups on a Land Rover.
