Frequently asked questions

What does the left-hand radiator bracket do?

The left-hand radiator bracket locates and secures the left side of the radiator core to the surrounding support on a Land Rover Defender. It holds the radiator in position and helps isolate it from engine and road vibration in the cooling system. This is the non-Td5 radiator installation.

Which Defender engines does this radiator bracket fit?

This left-hand radiator bracket fits the Land Rover Defender from 1987 to 2006 with non-Td5 engines, covering the 2.25 litre petrol, 2.5 litre diesel and petrol, and V8 variants. The Td5 cooling installation uses a different radiator mounting, so confirm your engine before ordering.

Is this the left-hand or right-hand radiator bracket?

This is the left-hand radiator bracket, fitting the left side of the radiator on a Defender. The right-hand side uses a separate bracket. If you're renewing corroded radiator mountings it's worth checking both sides, but order the side that matches what you need.
