Aandrijfkast – haakse aandrijving voor de snelheidsmeterkabel.

Een haakse tandwielaandrijving die de rotatie van de snelheidsmeter-aandrijving in de versnellingsbak opneemt en deze 90° draait om de snelheidsmeterkabel aan te drijven. Het stelt de kabel in staat om weg te worden geleid van het aftakpunt waar een rechte, lineaire verbinding niet mogelijk is, en zendt de rotatie van de weg-/rijsnelheid van de transmissie naar de snelheidsmeter op het dashboard.
