Genuine Part
Genuine: Original manufacturer part. This product is the original part designed and produced by the vehicle manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the air duct?
The air duct is the upper engine air intake hose on the Land Rover Freelander 1. It routes filtered air from the airbox to the engine intake, forming part of the induction system between the air filter housing and the throttle body.
Which Freelander 1 engines does it fit?
This air duct fits the Land Rover Freelander 1 (1996-2006). It's the induction duct used on the 2.0L M47 diesel and the 2.5 KV6 K Series petrol engines. Confirm your engine type before ordering, as induction layouts differ between variants.
Why does the air duct need replacing?
Replace the air duct when it cracks, splits, or collapses. A failed duct lets unmetered air into the induction system, causing irregular idle, hesitation, and loss of power on the Freelander 1. It's a common cause of running faults on these engines.
