De luchtkanaal is de bovenste motorluchtinlaatslang op de Freelander 1, die het luchtfilterhuis met de motorinlaat verbindt.

Dit kanaal leidt gefilterde lucht van de luchtfilterkast naar het gasklephuis of het inlaatspruitstuk, en maakt deel uit van het inductiesysteem. Het is het latere-specificatie onderdeel, ter vervanging van DHN000030. Scheuren of instorten van dit kanaal veroorzaakt ongecontroleerde luchttoevoer, wat resulteert in een onregelmatig stationair toerental, hapering en vermogensverlies.
