What is the Loadspace Rubber Mat used for?
The Loadspace Rubber Mat protects the loadspace floor and carpet from dirt, moisture and wear on the Freelander 2. It's moulded in waterproof black rubber with a raised retaining lip to contain spills and a textured non-slip surface that helps hold cargo in place.
Is this mat custom-fit or a universal tray?
It's custom-fit. The mat is moulded to the Freelander 2 (2006-2014) loadspace shape, so the raised lip and contours follow the floor rather than sitting loose like a universal tray. That gives better coverage and stops it sliding around.
Can the loadspace mat be removed and cleaned?
Yes. The rubber mat lifts straight out for cleaning and can be wiped or hosed down, then refitted. The waterproof rubber and raised lip mean spills stay on the mat rather than soaking into the Freelander 2 loadspace carpet underneath.
