What is the LR025615LR oil separator?
The LR025615LR is the Genuine crankcase emission control oil separator for the 2.0L petrol engine. It removes oil from engine breather gases so cleaner vapour returns to the intake. It fits the Range Rover Evoque L538 and Discovery Sport L550.
How does a failed oil separator show?
When this oil separator fails on the 2.0L petrol engine, you typically see oil pulled into the intake, a rough idle, or a breather whistle. The internal diaphragm is a common failure point and isn't serviced separately.
Which models and engines does it fit?
This separator fits 2.0L TiVCT turbo petrol (240PS) only. Covered models include Discovery Sport L550, Freelander 2, Range Rover L405, Range Rover Sport L494 and Evoque L538 (2012-2018). It does not fit diesel engines.
