What does the air conditioning compressor do?
The air conditioning compressor is the belt-driven pump at the heart of the A/C circuit. It draws low-pressure refrigerant gas from the evaporator and compresses it into high-pressure gas for the condenser, so the system can shed heat and cool the cabin. This is the 2.0L Si4 turbo petrol unit.
Which vehicles does this A/C compressor fit?
This compressor fits the Freelander 2 (2006-2014) with the 2.0L Si4 turbo petrol engine from VIN CH000001, and the Range Rover Evoque L538 (2012-2018) with the same 2.0L Si4 petrol. Confirm the Si4 petrol engine and, on the Freelander 2, the VIN break.
Does this compressor come with the clutch?
