Verdamper voor het airconditioningsysteem aan de voorzijde, geplaatst in de HVAC-unit achter het dashboard.

Vloeibaar koudemiddel met lage druk zet uit wanneer het de verdamperkern binnengaat en absorbeert warmte van de cabine lucht die de ventilatormotor over de lamellen trekt, waardoor de luchtstroom wordt gekoeld en ontvochtigd voordat deze de ventilatieopeningen bereikt. De kern bevindt zich stroomafwaarts van de expansieklep in het koudemiddelcircuit.
