Uitlaatophanging is een gegoten rubberen hanger die het uitlaatsysteem ophangt aan de onderkant van het voertuig en de geluiddemper en tussenpijpsecties ondersteunt.

Het rubberen lichaam bevindt zich tussen een haak of pen op de uitlaatbeugel en een bijbehorend punt op de carrosserie, waarbij het gewicht van de uitlaat wordt gedragen en motor- en wegtrillingen worden geïsoleerd. De flexibiliteit zorgt er ook voor dat het systeem vrij kan uitzetten en bewegen tijdens normale thermische cycli.
