Genuine: Original manufacturer part. This product is the original part designed and produced by the vehicle manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the YXI500010 cigar lighter and what does it do?

The YXI500010 is the knob and heating-element assembly for the cigar lighter on the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012). Pressing the knob in connects its coil element to the 12-volt supply, and a bimetallic mechanism releases it once hot. The same socket doubles as the standard 12-volt accessory outlet.

Where is the cigar lighter fitted on a Range Rover L322?

The cigar lighter sits in the centre console of the Range Rover L322. On 2002-2009 cars it's part of the floor console switch assembly; on 2010-2012 cars it's in the console switch pack from VIN AA000001. It feeds the console 12-volt accessory socket.

How do I confirm this cigar lighter fits my vehicle?

This cigar lighter fits the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) only. The console switch layout changed during production, so use your VIN to confirm the variant: 2002-2009 cars use the floor switch console assembly, and 2010-2012 cars the later console switch pack from VIN AA000001.
